‘Ogun Workers To Enjoy Open Door Policy In New Dispensation’ Says Adekunle

Ogun State Civil Servants have been assured that the current dispensation of Governor Ibikunle Amosun in the State will continue to promote open door policy and give priority to issues relating to workers welfare.
The Head of Service, Mrs. Modupe Adekunle gave the assurance while featuring on a television programme in Abeokuta.
She said the open door policy of the present administration would be centred on the general well-being of Civil Servants in a bid to create a conducive environment for the smooth running of governance for the benefit of the populace.
According to her, the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun holds the Civil Service in high esteem, disclosing that “whatever is their right is duly given to them and that a lot would be done to make life more meaningful for workers”.
“We have a very understanding Governor, who holds the Civil Service in high esteem in Ogun State. The Civil Service is paramount to him and he doesn’t joke with their welfare. He does whatever is legitimate if it is their right, he makes sure that they get it “She said.
On expectations of Civil Servants in the new dispensation, Mrs. Adekunle assured that the AAK Degun Workers’ Estate would be completed in line with the Ogun Standard and allocated, while car and housing loans would be disbursed, with a call on workers to be more dedicated to their duties.
She also assured journalists in the State that a Media Village would be constructed to meet their housing need.
Mrs. Adekunle said the present administration’s effort at raising the State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) was commendable, assuring that Government would continue to provide services for the citizenry.
On training and re-training, the Head of Service revealed that a lot had been done to improve on workers output through in-house training by various MDAS.
