Covenant Varsity holds 10th Convocation

The Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State will hold its 10th convocation ceremony between June 24 and 28.
In a statement by the Chairperson, Convocation Planning Committee, Dr. Solomon Oranusi, the five-day ceremony will begin on Wednesday, June 24 with special convocation assembly, exhibition, world press conference, convocation rehearsal and special convocation service, where the Senior Pastor, Winners Chapel International, Pastor David Oyedepo, will be ministering.

Oranusi said: “On Thursday, June 25, the convocation lecture entitled Higher Education and Africa’s Future: Doing What is Right, will be delivered by former Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Peter Okebukola. This will be followed by a cocktail, CU/Industry Partnership Luncheon, College hooding events, special prizes and awards, as well as special concert and variety night.
“The Director, UNIDEP, Senegal and keynote speaker, Prof. Adebayo Olukoshi, will be speaking on National Re-orientation toward transformational leadership in Africa, on Friday, June 26, at the convocation ceremony for award of first and higher degrees, and presentation of special awards and prizes.”
